Welcome to Koshou Ryu Ju-Jitsu

Koshou Ryu Ju-Jitsu is a modern Ju-Jitsu system that is based on older forms of traditional Ju-Jitsu, complimented with effective techniques from various other disciplines.

Koshou Ryu was founded in 1997 by the Chief Instructor, Sensei George Cushinan, and has been taught to 1000’s of students throughout Markham over the past 24 years.

Due to COVID19, the City of Markham classes taught by Sensei Gary Bulian (Renshi) are currently running via ‘zoom’ or on hold.  Check the Markham Recreation guide for updates (listed as Karate at the Old Unionville Library Community Centre). Sensei Gary is often assisted by senior level Black Belts; Sensei Jeff Newton (Renshi) and Sensei Ellery Bunn (Renshi).
